Scenic Norway  (Click for Flyer)

August 7 - August 16, 2020

Gorgeous fjords, breathtaking mountains, serene lakes, gleaming glaciers, and thundering waterfalls await ... this is Norway.  You'll spend time in the Hardangerfjord region, where you'll stop at thundering Låtefoss twin-waterfall, one of Norway's best-known waterfalls; take a ferry and see Hardangervidda mountain plateau, one of Europe's largest and home to Northern Europe's largest stock of reindeer. You’ll also taste apple cider from a family-owned farm, where you’ll meet the family, hear about their history and how cider is made.  But that's not all… you'll also enjoy a cruise on the Sognefjord, Norway's longest fjord, with its Nærøyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a stop to see one of the mighty branches that radiate from Jostedal Glacier, Europe's largest glacier. Another tour highlight is a cruise past the famous "Seven Sisters," the most photographed waterfalls in Geirangerfjord.

Land of the Midnight Sun & Lofoten Islands (Click Here for Flyer)

July 25 - August 5, 2020

If you've dreamt of experiencing Scandinavia's Land of the Midnight Sun, this guided vacation in Norway can make your dreams come true. This exciting journey takes to the air with a flight across the Arctic Circle to embark on an excursion to the North Cape's sheer 1,000-foot cliff above the Atlantic Ocean. In exploring the islands and picturesque fishing villages, you'll learn about the history of this magical region. You'll be amazed by the islands' naturally exquisite beauty, complete with mountain peaks, open sea, sheltered bays, and crystal waters. Summer is a great time to visit Lofoten-when the nights are short, and the days are long. The weather is typically good, and the temperatures are pleasant. You can visit the beach while the midnight sun brightens up your world.  You’ll carry your days in the Land of the Midnight Sun with you always.

Are you curious about what you would see and do on these amazing journeys?

This is my “dream” trip, the place I’ve been waiting to see ever since I started traveling 30+ years ago. I’ve been researching this destination for years. I’ve studied the geography, the cultures, the history and I know what I want to see, what I want to do and what I don’t want to miss. So when it came time to pick a tour, just one tour, I couldn’t do it. I couldn’t come up with just one tour that was going to “fit the bill”, one that would cross off all the “must see” items on my bucket list. Therefore, I’m doing this group adventure a bit differently than any other group I’ve done in the past. Mike and I have booked ourselves on 3 separate tours for next January/February (which is their summer months). We will start with Trafalgar’s Tastes of Southern Australia, followed by Trafalgar’s Australian Highlights and ending with Trafalgar’s New Zealand Splendor.  Because of the cost and the time it takes to explore this part of the world, we are inviting you to join us for whatever part interests you the most. You can choose to go on only one of the tours, take in two of them or you can do as Mike and I are doing and go on all three! This gives you the opportunity to travel the parts of Australia or New Zealand that you really want to see the most. Are you ready to discover this vast wonderland?
